Common Core Math I is the first in a sequence of mathematics courses designed to provide students with a solid overview of high school topics. Math I Honors will expand upon the topics covered in the previous mathematics courses including the foundations of algebra, equations, inequalities, systems of equations and inequalities, linear functions, exponents, polynomials, quadratics, radicals, rational functions, and statistics. This is an honors course and students will be expected to complete all honors components. Honors components will include: participation in investigations, projects, and reading assignments. Due dates will be posted under the assignments/attachments tab at the top of the page. The Math I curriculum content is dense and rigorous. The pace of this class will be brisk.
